Hunter, Dard, 1883-1966

Hunter was part of the American Arts and Crafts Movement, and a member of Elbert Hubbard's Roycrofters in East Aurora, NY, in 1904. He devoted his life to research, collecting, writing, and publishing the history of hand papermaking and printing. He published books at his Mountain House Press and established Lime Rock Mill, a paper mill in Connecticut.
